On Further Co and Cam Reflection

So, I got the new Coheed and Cambria album "No World for Tomorrow" this afternoon and I gotta say that so far my favorite song is "Feathers." It is irresistible! It has their trademark pop-metal with soaring vocals about something that is probably concrete to the singer Claudio but totally abstract to me. It starts out with a similar riff to Poison's "Fallen Angel" but soon it melts into typical Co and Cam epicly-scaled bliss.

This is the kind of song that I can't wait to memorize the lyrics to and belt out in the shower/ in my car. The words in the chorus I will sing along most to are, "Right now, hide your feathers on the back porch, baby/ He’s coming home, for you've been such a li-aaaaar." I have zero idea what this means but I hope this dude or lady does hide their feathers because I can't wait to try this out with the acoustics in my shower. I just pushed repeat and I'm listening to it again. I can't stop! Thanks, Claudio and co. for delivering another awesome album! Love ya, dudes!
