Holy Space Day!

Here is a recent episode of Rocketboom about space and I wrote it! Well, my editor made a few tweaks here and there, but I worked on this one and they kept about 90% of my script! I'm so excited. Check it out:

And, I just received word that it is the #1 featured YouTube clip in the Science and Technology category in 21 countries! Holy Shit. Woooooow. That is blowing my mind. I'm so glad that my Space Camp attendance in 8th grade has paid off.

It's Officially Official: Rocketboom Hired Me!

Hey guys!

It's been a bit of a whirlwind. As someone who hasn't really traveled anywhere for the past year, I've been hitting the road in a last ditch effort to get my summer on. I went to nyc last weekend, went down to Cape May with Ruthie and Joey during the week, and went to Shannon's parents' house in Jersey yesterday. AND, I think I'm going to swing on down to Richmond to visit Tracy on Friday. Whew.

Well, in all of my jet setting, I have also gotten myself a new job. And it's exciting. As of last week, I am now a writer for Rocketboom, an online video show. You can read the announcement on the head honcho Andrew's blog.

Of all the writers hired, I'm the only woman which makes me incredibly proud. Everyone I've met there has been motivated and ethusiastic. It will be really exciting when the bits I've been contributing make it on-air. We can work on individual show scripts, which I'll start to do this week. If any of mine get made, I'll post 'em here. Exciting exciting.

Oh, and a huge huge HUGE thanks goes out to the Southern Curmudgeon for encouraging me to apply. Seriously, thanks. I owe you one.
