I Like This

My favorite singer ever Patrick Stump is asking his fans which version of his song "Spotlight" he should include on his new solo record. You can download both versions of the song on his site, PatrickStump.com, and vote on which one you like better. So far, "Spotlight (Oh, Nostalgia)" is in the lead. That's the one I voted for! I have to say, I'm thrilled to see him reaching out to his fans and including them on this decision. I can't even think of a band that's done that before. Can you?

Besides the fact that I'm stoked to hear new music from him, I'm super stoked that he's breaking down his walls. When he was in FOB, he would shy away from attention. He didn't have a Twitter or Facebook page. In fact, he actively shunned any kind of social media presence. So now that he's readying his new album, it's exciting to see him communicate directly with the people who will be supporting him. A++, Patrick!
